O n the 11th of March, Matt Tuddenham owner of Tuddy’s Earthworks & Haulage Nathalia was part of a trip co-ordinated by Aussie Hay Runners. Four trucks made the trip to Buangor (between Beaufort and Ararat) with a load of donated hay for farmers who had been affected by the recent bushfires. After three years of grant applications and only partially completed jobs because of a lack of money, the Nathalia Cenotaph restoration is finally underway. The Nathalia Public Cemetery continues to benefit from the generosity of our community. Through the Nathalia Community Bendigo Bank grants program, the Trust has been able to lay the final 2 beams of Lawn South C. Thank you Bendigo Bank for your ongoing support of the cemetery. Waaia A Grade cricket side have taken out the Cricket Shepparton’s One Day Final against Central Park. The day started off with winning the toss and batting. Sam Trower and Reinhardt Engler formed a strong partnership after an early wicket which steadied the ship.
