THIS BOOK IS divided into a number of chapters, looking first at the broader histories of the Bourke and Warburton family names before concentrating on the Bourke and Warburton families from the earliest times we can find records–for the Bourke family, it is in Ireland in the mid-1840s–for the Warburtons, we can delve earlier into the mid-18th century in England. From there, we move to Australia, to the union of Michael and Emily Jane and then follow their journey to Narioka and to raising a family with a total of 14 children, four of whom did not reach teenage age.
