St Francis Primary - Book Week

The Book Week Parade is a joyous occasion and a highlight of the school year with children (and parents) going to such great effort to design costumes to represent a character from their favourite books.  The Book Week Parade this year at St Francis was held in Term 4 to align to student learning in the classrooms.  With the sun shining, we had a wonderful day celebrating literacy at St Francis.

We remember that Book Week is a time to enjoy the written word, share stories, and foster a lifelong love of reading. The ways to celebrate are endless, and the most important thing is to have fun and appreciate the world of literature.  We had a great time at school with some amazing costumes!
