Local Postie Retires

After 21 years of delivering mail through floodwaters and more potholes than we could ever imagine Wendy Stanger is hanging up her delivery cap!

Wendy started delivering mail in 2002, she has travelled approximately 1,201,200ks and made 764,400 deliveries in those 21 years.

This equates to 220ks per day and 140 delivery points.

Wendy delivers mail, newspapers and the Red Gum Courier to the Picola, Barmah and Kotupna communities, and will finish up at the end of the month.

We thank Wendy for her many years of service and wish her the best for her retirement.

Thank You Wendy!
